The Law Offices of Robert J. Jacobs, P.A. is owned and directed by Robert J. Jacobs, Esq., and located in Gainesville, Florida.   The firm offers services in all areas of U.S. immigration law and serves clients throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa.

The law firm currently consists of: 

Robert J. Jacobs, Esq. - a graduate of the University of Florida College of Law and a member of the Bar of the State of New York,  Mr. Jacobs has been principal of the Law Offices of Robert J. Jacobs, P.A. since 1997.  He is authorized to practice immigration law in all states of the United States by virtue of his New York licensure.  Mr. Jacobs is an active  member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).   

Giuseppe D'Amata, Esq. - a graduate of the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law, Giuseppe (Joe) is a member of the Bar of the State of New York as well as a licensed Barrister and Solicitor in Ontario, Canada.   Joe serves as Associate Attorney and Case Manager for our firm.   He has had several years of experience in all aspects of U.S. immigration law.

Rita Weichert - Our office manager and paralegal, Rita earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and has several years experience in accounting, office management and personnel management. 

Jil Peruga - Jil serves as a paralegal for our firm.  After earning her Bachelor's degree in Mathematics  from New York University, Jil served for several years as head of the visa office for a major non-profit organization in the U.S.  

Sybille Murray - Sybille is our receptionist and paralegal.  A former long-time employee of the University of Florida, Sybille is also a member of the U.S. Dressage Federation, the Florida Horse Trials Association and former Project Chair of the Alachua County Horse Project.
